Definition:

Parathyroid hormone receptor 1 (PTHR1) is a family B G-protein-coupled receptor (GPCR) that regulates skeletal development, bone turnover and mineral ion homeostasis. PTHR1 is expressed primarily in bone, kidney and cartilage.
