1. Fosnetupitant

Fosnetupitant (Pronetupitant) a methylene phosphate proagent of Netupitant. Fosnetupitant (Pronetupitant) exhibits a pKi of 9.5 for human NK1 receptor.

The free form of the compound is prone to instability, it is advisable to consider the stable salt form (Fosnetupitant chloride monohydrochloride) that retains the same biological activity.

Description

Fosnetupitant (Pronetupitant) a methylene phosphate proagent of Netupitant. Fosnetupitant (Pronetupitant) exhibits a pKi of 9.5 for human NK1 receptor[1].

In Vitro

Fosnetupitant (Pronetupitant) displays micromolar affinity for the 5-HT6 (pKi ∼ 5.2) receptor and type L Ca2+ channels (pKi ∼ 5.7) and does not bind all the other proteins investigated[1].

MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.

In Vivo

Pronetupitant is rapidly and extensively converted to Netupitant after i.v. injection in rats[1].

MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.

Help & FAQs
  • Do most proteins show cross-species activity?

Species cross-reactivity must be investigated individually for each product. Many human cytokines will produce a nice response in mouse cell lines, and many mouse proteins will show activity on human cells. Other proteins may have a lower specific activity when used in the opposite species.
