MCE Ni-NTA His-Tag Purification Agarose consists of nitrilotriacetic acid (NTA) chelator-activated agarose beads that subsequently charged with divalent nickel (Ni²⁺) ions by four coordination sites.

The affinity chromatography purification reagent has low Ni²⁺ leakage, high protein-binding capacity and stability, and is compatible with a wide range of chemicals and pH values, making it ideal for high performance purification of polyhistidine-tagged proteins expressed in E.coli, yeast, insect and mammalian expression systems.

Do most proteins show cross-species activity?
Species cross-reactivity must be investigated individually for each product. Many human cytokines will produce a nice response in mouse cell lines, and many mouse proteins will show activity on human cells. Other proteins may have a lower specific activity when used in the opposite species.
