Disseminated superficial actinic porokeratosis (DSAP)

Definition:

Porokeratosis is a disorder of keratinization characterized by atrophic patches surrounded by a ridge of keratin called cornoid lamella. Disseminated superficial actinic porokeratosis (DSAP) is the most common form of porokeratosis. It is induced by exposure to ultraviolet light and usually appears during the third or fourth decade.
