Oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) is a pathological type of oral cancer, accounting for over 90% of oral cancers.OSCC is a malignant neoplasm derived from the stratified squamous epithelium of the oral mucosa. Its pathogenesis is multifactorial, associated with cigarette smoke, alcohol and snuff, as well as the papilloma virus.
