Patient-derived xenograft models (PDX) is a xenograft model, which fresh tumor tissue or tumor cells from a patient are transplanted in situ or ectopic into immunodeficient mice and grown in the environment provided by the mice.PDX is widely used as preclinical cancer models, which represents the genomic features of primary tumors.
