The total length of TMED1 Protein, Mouse (HEK293, Fc) is 170 a.a., with molecular weight of ~56-60 KDa.

Background

TMED1 Protein belongs to the TMED (transmembrane emp24 domain-containing) protein family, which is involved in the vesicular trafficking of proteins. TMED1 Protein was identified by its interaction with interleukin 1 receptor-like 1 (IL1RL1) and may play a role in innate immunity. TMED1 Protein lacks any similarity to other interleukin 1 ligands.

Biological Activity

Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA. Immobilized Mouse TMED1 at 0.5 μg/mL (100 μL/well) can bind Human ST2. The ED50 for this effect is 2.39 μg/mL.

Reconstitution

Stored at -20°C for 2 years. After reconstitution, it is stable at 4°C for 1 week or -20°C for longer (with carrier protein). It is recommended to freeze aliquots at -20°C or -80°C for extended storage.
