KLRG2 Protein, Human (P.pastoris, His)

Cat. No.: HY-P71749
Handling Instructions

KLRG2 Protein is a member of the killer cell lectin-like receptor (KLR) family, is a group of transmembrane proteins preferentially expressed in NK cells. Genetic variations in the gene KLRG2 may affect the Gleason score at diagnosis and thus the aggressiveness of prostate cancer. KLRG2 Protein, Human (P.pastoris, His) is the recombinant human-derived KLRG2 protein, expressed by P. pastoris , with N-His labeled tag. The total length of KLRG2 Protein, Human (P.pastoris, His) is 409 a.a., with molecular weight of ~44.9 kDa.

Background

KLRG2, a member of the killer cell lectin-like receptor (KLR) family, is a group of transmembrane proteins preferentially expressed in NK cells. Another member of the family, KLRG1, is a lymphocyte co-suppressor or immune checkpoint receptor expressed primarily in late-differentiation effector and effector memory CD8+ T and NK cells. Genetic variations in the gene KLRG2 may affect the Gleason score at diagnosis and thus the aggressiveness of prostate cancer[1][2][3].

Help & FAQs
  • Do most proteins show cross-species activity?

Species cross-reactivity must be investigated individually for each product. Many human cytokines will produce a nice response in mouse cell lines, and many mouse proteins will show activity on human cells. Other proteins may have a lower specific activity when used in the opposite species.

The reconstitution calculator equation

Volume (to add to vial) = Mass (in vial) ÷ Desired Reconstitution Concentration

Volume (to add to vial) = Mass (in vial) ÷ Desired Reconstitution Concentration
= ÷

The dilution calculator equation

Concentration (start) × Volume (start) = Concentration (final) × Volume (final)

This equation is commonly abbreviated as: C1V1 = C2V2

Concentration (start) × Volume (start) = Concentration (final) × Volume (final)
× = ×
C1   V1   C2   V2

The specific activity calculator equation

Specific Activity (Unit/mg) = 106 ÷ Biological Activity (ED50)

Specific Activity (Unit/mg) = 106 ÷ Biological Activity (ED50)
Unit/mg = 106 ÷ ng/mL
