Neurodegenerative Disease Series

Neurodegenerative diseases are characterized by progressive dysfunction and death of neurons and include a broad range of conditions, from Parkinson’s (PD), Alzheimer’s (AD), Huntington’s disease (HD) to glaucoma. At present, the cause of such diseases is not clear and there is no cure, and it is a serious threat to human health.
Recent research findings have led to a greater understanding of neurodegenerative diseases. Current studies on the pathogenesis of neurodegenerative diseases mainly include protein misfolding and aggregation, neuroinflammation, programmed cell death and aging, etc. These results not only provide useful information for elucidating the mechanism of these diseases, but also provide new ideas and targets for finding new drugs.
According to the neurodegenerative disease pathogenesis reported, MCE prepared several Neurodegenerative Disease-related compound libraries, including Anti-Alzheimer's Disease Compound Library, Neuroprotective Compound Library, Anti-Parkinson's Disease Compound Library, etc.
