Description

PD 90780 is a non peptide antagonist of nerve growth factor (NGF). PD 90780 interacts with NGF, prevents NGF binds with p75NTR. PD 90780 inhibits NGF-p75NTR interaction with IC50s of 23.1 and 1.8 µM in PC12 cells and PC12nnr5 cells, respectively[1] .

In Vitro

PD 90780 (0.1-100 μM; 2 h) affects 125I-BDNF binds to truncated p75NTR[1].
PD 90780 (100 μM; 2 h) inhibits 125I-NGF cross-linking to p75NTR[1].
PD 90780 (0-300 μM; 2 h) decreases TrkA phosphorylation resulting from NGF binding with a dose of 300 μM[1].
PD 90780 (0.1-100 μM; 2 h) inhibits NGF-p75NTR interaction with IC50 values of 23.1 µM and 1.8 µM in PC12 cells and PC12nnr5 cells, respectively[1].
