Description

SDH-IN-12 (compound 9b) is a succinate dehydrogenase inhibitor, which exhibits activity against S. sclerotiorum and C. arachidicola, with EC50s of 0.97 and 2.07 μM, respectively. SDH-IN-12 reveals no significant herbicidal activity against monocotyledonous and dicotyledonous plants[1].

In Vitro

SDH-IN-12 (50 μM) exhibits fungicidal activities against S. sclerotiorum (98%), Alternaria solani (71%), B. cinerea (50%), R. solani (90%) and C. arachidicola (90%)[1].
SDH-IN-12 (10 μM) destroys ultrastructure of S. sclerotiorum , resultes in contraction and obvious collapse of the mycelial surface[1].
SDH-IN-12 reveals good bioavailability with a plasma protein binding ability (PPB) < 90%[1].

Help & FAQs
  • Do most proteins show cross-species activity?

Species cross-reactivity must be investigated individually for each product. Many human cytokines will produce a nice response in mouse cell lines, and many mouse proteins will show activity on human cells. Other proteins may have a lower specific activity when used in the opposite species.
