Definition:

Thiamine diphosphatase (TDPase)/Thiamine pyrophosphatase, the enzyme responsible for thiamine diphosphate hydrolysis to thiamine monophosphate, is a predominantly neuronal enzyme in brain and appears to be localized in cholinergic nerve terminals.
