Definition:

Alzheimer disease (AD) is a Neurodegenerative diseases (NDDs) that leads to cognitive decline. AD is characterized by β-amyloid plaques and intraneuronal τ aggregation usually associated with Cerebral amyloid angiopathy (CAA).
