Dicrocoeliasis

Definition:

Dicrocoeliosis is a rare food-borne parasitic zoonosis caused by Dicrocoelium dendriticum, commonly known as the Lancet liver fluke. Human infection occurs by accidental ingestion of the second intermediate host.
