Dual endothelin-1/angiotensin II receptor

Definition:

Dual endothelin-1/angiotensin-2 receptor that is functionally coupled to a calcium-mobilizing transduction system, responding equivalently to both endothelin-1/EDN1 and angiotensin-2 peptides in a highly specific manner. Also binds the signal peptide of VEGFA. May play a role in angiogenesis with a significant role in cardiovascular and neural development (By similarity).
