Fibroblast growth factor receptor (FGFR)

Definition:

Fibroblast growth factor receptor (FGFR) is a family of receptor tyrosine kinases expressed on the cell membrane. FGFR consists of four members: FGFR1 to FGFR4, and plays crucial roles in both developmental and adult cells. FGFR is a target for the therapy of various cancers.
