Fructose-bisphosphate aldolase A

Definition:

Catalyzes the reversible conversion of beta-D-fructose 1,6-bisphosphate (FBP) into two triose phosphate and plays a key role in glycolysis and gluconeogenesis. In addition, may also function as scaffolding protein (By similarity).
