Definition:

JAK/STAT pathway is the pathway of Signal transducer and activator of transcription (STAT) is phosphorylated by Janus kinase (JAK), dimerized, and then transports into the nucleus through the nuclear membrane to regulate the expression of related genes. JAK/STAT pathway is one of the most important signaling pathways, directly regulates the communication from transmembrane receptors to the nucleus.
