Lobomycosis

Definition:

Lobomycosis, also known as Lobo disease or lacaziosis, is a chronic, granulomatous and cutaneous-subcutaneous infection that primarily occurs in tropical climates of Latin America. It is a zoonotic disease in humans and some species of dolphins. Main etiological agent is Lacazia loboi, a uncultivable dimorphic onygenale fungi.
