N-acetylaspartate synthetase

Definition:

Catalyzes the synthesis of N-acetylaspartate acid (NAA) from L-aspartate and acetyl-CoA. Promotes dopamine uptake by regulating TNF-alpha expression (By similarity). Attenuates methamphetamine-induced inhibition of dopamine uptake.
