Definition:

Nanoparticles (NPs) defined as a particle of matter that is between 1 and 100 nanometres (nm) in diameter. Nanoparticles (NPs) exerts potential application as diagnostic and therapeutic agents and efficiently delivers a (chemo-) therapeutic drug to the pathological site. Iron oxide nanoparticles, for example, has been introduced into clinical routine.
