Nephrogenic syndrome of inappropriate antidiuresis

Definition:

Nephrogenic syndrome of inappropriate antidiuresis (NSIAD) is a disorder of water balance caused by gain of function mutation of arginine vasopressin receptor type 2 (AVPR2) resulting in free water reabsorption and episodes of hyponatremia.
