Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) is a malignancy characterized by a poor prognosis and high mortality rate.The typical histopathology of PDAC comprises clusters of moderately-to-poorly differentiated cancer cells embedded within an exuberant desmoplastic stroma, consisting of Extracellular matrix (ECM), Cancer-associated fibroblasts (CAFs) and immune cells.
