Vascular endothelial growth factor receptor (VEGFR)

Definition:

Vascular endothelial growth factor receptor (VEGFR) is membrane-bound receptor tyrosine kinase proteins that are frequently overexpressed in many cancers. VEGFR bind to vascular endothelial growth factors (VEGFs) to elicit various downstream effects.
