Voltage-gated proton channel (HV1)

Definition:

The voltage-gated proton channel Hv1 is made of two voltage-sensing domains (VSDs) and lacks the pore domain (PD). The voltage-gated proton channel HV1 is a ion channel that rapidly removes protons from depolarized cytoplasm and is highly expressed in the immune system.
