Definition:

Positive allosteric modulators (PAMs)is a allosteric modulator, binding to a receptor to change that receptor's response to stimulus. Positive allosteric modulators (PAMs)increasesthe response of the receptor by increasing the affinity that an agonist will bind to a receptor, increasing its efficacy to activate the receptor, or both.
