Serpin A11
Serpin A11 (SERPINA11) is one of the least-characterized members of the SERPINA cluster on human chromosome 14, lying within the tandem array that includes SERPINA1 and the SERPINA3 paralogs. Like its cluster neighbors, it encodes a secreted glycoprotein with the canonical serpin fold of three beta-sheet cores and an exposed reactive center loop, and transcript databases indicate expression chiefly in liver and at lower levels in other tissues, consistent with a plasma protease-inhibitor role. Because its physiological target proteases remain incompletely defined, recombinant Serpin A11 is used mainly to profile substrate specificity, generate isoform-specific antibodies, and complete coverage of the SERPINA locus for cluster research.

The EpCAM/TROP1 protein serves as an important homogeneous interacting molecule that promotes direct contact between intestinal epithelial cells (IEC) and intraepithelial lymphocytes (IEL) in the mucosal epithelium. This feature helps establish an immune barrier against mucosal infections. EpCAM/TROP1 Protein, Human (His-SUMO) is the recombinant human-derived EpCAM/TROP1 protein, expressed by E. coli , with N-6*His, N-SUMO labeled tag.
