Aluminum hydroxide adjuvant is a vaccine aluminum adjuvant. The aluminum content is 9-11 mg/mL. Aluminum hydroxide adjuvant induces the differentiation of macrophages into a new type of mature, specialized antigen-presenting cells in vitro[1]. In Vivo

Filtration of the antigen before mixing with the adjuvant is recommended.

1. Shake the adjuvant thoroughly before use.

2. Mix adjuvant with antigen solution at a 1:9 ratio (100μL adjuvant per 900μL antigen):

a. Add adjuvant dropwise with constant mixing to the immunogen solution.

b. Pipet up and down several times to ensure correct absorption of antigen by adjuvant and incubate ~10 minutes.

NOTE: Ratio can be optimized from 1:1 to 1:9.

3. Inject into the animal, the volume depends on the site of injection.

Note: After opening, store the product refrigerated at 2–8°C and used within 3 months as soon as possible. Avoid high temperature, high pressure, and repeated freezing and thawing.
