Delta-like protein 4/DLL4 Protein, Rhesus Macaque (HEK293, His)

delta-like protein 4 involves in the Notch signaling pathway as Notch ligand, and activates NOTCH1 and NOTCH4. delta-like protein 4 involves in angiogenesis. Delta-like protein 4/DLL4 Protein, Rhesus Macaque (HEK293, His) is the recombinant Rhesus Macaque-derived Delta-like protein 4/DLL4 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-His labeled tag.

delta-like protein 4 negatively regulates endothelial cell proliferation and migration and angiogenic sprouting.delta-like protein 4 is essential for retinal progenitor proliferation, and is required for suppressing rod fates in late retinal progenitors as well as for proper generation of other retinal cell types. delta-like protein 4 inhibits V2a interneuron fate during spinal cord neurogenesis^[1][2].

Measured by the ability of the immobilized protein to enhance BMP-2 induced alkaline phosphatase activity in C3H10T1/2 mouse embryonic fibroblast cells. The ED₅₀ for this effect is 0.1291 μg/mL, corresponding to a specific activity is 7.746×10³ units/mg.
