EsxA Protein, Mycobacterium tuberculosis (His, Myc)

EsxA Protein, Mycobacterium tuberculosis (His, Myc) is the recombinant EsxA, expressed by E. coli , with N-10*His, C-Myc labeled tag.

EsxA is a secreted protein that acts as a potent host T-cell antigen. It plays multiple roles in modulating the host's immune response to infection and is responsible for bacterial escape into the host cytoplasm.

Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA. When Recombinant Mycobacterium tuberculosis EsxA is immobilized at 2.5 µg/mL(100 µL/well) can bind Anti-EsxB antibody. The ED₅₀ for this effect is 468 ng/mL.
