IL-21R Protein, Cynomolgus/Rhesus Macaque (HEK293, His)

Interleukin-21 receptor is a novel class I cytokine receptor that mediates its effects through the interaction with the common g chain (gc), making IL-21 the latest member of the family of gc cytokines, which includes IL-2, IL-4, IL-7, IL-9, IL-13, and IL-15. IL-21R Protein, Cynomolgus/Rhesus Macaque (HEK293, His) is the recombinant Rhesus Macaque-derived IL-21R protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-His labeled tag.

Interleukin-21 receptor enables cytokine receptor activity and protein binding. Interleukin-21 receptor is involved in cytokine-mediated signaling pathway and in immunoglobulin mediated immune response. Interleukin-21 receptor is located in external side of plasma membrane^[1][2][3].

When Recombinant Human IL-21 Proteinis immobilized at 2.50 μg/mL, 100 μL/well can bind of Recombinant Rhesus Macaque IL-21R. The ED₅₀ for this effect is 1.840 μg/mL.

It is not recommended to reconstitute to a concentration less than 100 μg/mL in ddH₂O. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% BSA, 5% HSA, 10% FBS or 5% Trehalose).

Stored at -20°C for 2 years from date of receipt. After reconstitution, it is stable at 4°C for 1 week or -20°C for longer (with carrier protein). It is recommended to freeze aliquots at -20°C or -80°C for extended storage.
