Interleukin-21 receptor is a novel class I cytokine receptor that mediates its effects through the interaction with the common g chain (gc), making IL-21 the latest member of the family of gc cytokines, which includes IL-2, IL-4, IL-7, IL-9, IL-13, and IL-15. Interleukin-21 receptor enables cytokine receptor activity and protein binding. Interleukin-21 receptor is involved in cytokine-mediated signaling pathway and in immunoglobulin mediated immune response. Interleukin-21 receptor is located in external side of plasma membrane[1][2][3].

Biological Activity

When Recombinant Human IL-21 Proteinis immobilized at 2.50 μg/mL, 100 μL/well can bind of Recombinant Rhesus Macaque IL-21R. The ED50 for this effect is 1.840 μg/mL.
