Low density lipoprotein receptor-related protein associated protein 1 interacts with the low density lipoprotein (LDL) receptor-related protein and facilitates its proper folding and localization by preventing the binding of ligands.LRPAP1 Protein, Mouse (HEK293, His) is the recombinant mouse-derived LRPAP1 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-6*His labeled tag.

Low density lipoprotein receptor-related protein associated protein 1 ( LRPAP1) interacts with the low density lipoprotein (LDL) receptor-related protein and facilitates its proper folding and localization by preventing the binding of ligands. LRPAP1 is a widely expressed gene that encodes low density lipoprotein receptor-related protein-associated protein 1, a 357 amino acid protein that is thought to act as a chaperone that binds and protects the lipoprotein receptor-related proteins LRP1 and LRP2^[1][2][3][4].

Immobilized LRPAP1 at 2 μg/mL (100 μL/well) can bind Biotinylated VLDLR protein. The ED₅₀ for this effect is 0.1294-0.5374 nM.

Stored at -20°C for 2 years from date of receipt. After reconstitution, it is stable at 4°C for 1 week or -20°C for longer (with carrier protein). It is recommended to freeze aliquots at -20°C or -80°C for extended storage.
