PNLIP/Pancreatic lipase Protein, Human (HEK293, His)

PNLIP/Pancreatic lipase Protein is pivotal in fat metabolism, preferentially cleaving esters of long-chain fatty acids at positions 1 and 3, yielding 2-monoacylglycerol and free fatty acids. It displays increased activity with insoluble emulsified substrates over soluble ones. PNLIP/Pancreatic lipase Protein, Human (HEK293, His) is the recombinant human-derived PNLIP/Pancreatic lipase protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-His, C-8*His labeled tag.

The PNLIP/Pancreatic lipase protein plays a vital role in fat metabolism. It exhibits a preference for cleaving the esters of long-chain fatty acids at positions 1 and 3, resulting in the production of 2-monoacylglycerol and free fatty acids. Additionally, it demonstrates significantly higher activity against insoluble emulsified substrates compared to soluble ones.

Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA. Immobilized CLPS (HY-P72933) at 10 μg/mL(100 μL/well) can bind biotinylated PNLIP. The ED₅₀ for this effect is 1.183 μg/mL.
