AGRP proteins critically regulate body weight homeostasis and feeding behavior through the central melanocortin system. As an α-melanocyte-stimulating hormone antagonist, AGRP inhibits cAMP production and antagonizes stimulation of melanocortin receptors. AGRP Protein, Human (HEK293, Fc) is the recombinant human-derived AGRP protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-hFc labeled tag.
