ESAM Protein has the ability to facilitate aggregation, primarily through a homophilic molecular interaction. It also interacts with MAGI1, thereby contributing to its functional role in cellular processes.

Biological Activity

Measured in a cell proliferation assay using MDA-MB-231 cells. The ED50 for this effect is 40.66 ng/mL. Corresponding to a specific activity is 2.459×104 Unit/mg.
