NRG1-beta 2 Protein, Human

HRG1-β1 belongs to a family of structurally-related polypeptide growth factors derived from alternatively spliced genes, induces Fn14 expression in MCF7 cells. NRG1-beta 2 Protein, Human is the recombinant human-derived NRG1-beta 2 protein, expressed by E. coli , with tag free.

HRG1-β1 activates HER2/HER3 signaling and up-regulate Fn14 gene expression in parental MCF7 cells. HRG1-β1-mediated Fn14 up-regulation in MCF7/HER2-18 cells is required for maximal MMP-9 production.

The ED₅₀ is <50 ng/mL as measured by serum free human MCF-7 cells, corresponding to a specific activity of > 2.0×10⁴ units/mg.
