This ribonuclease demonstrates potent antibacterial activity against a broad spectrum of bacteria, including P. aeruginosa, A. baumanii, M. luteus, S. aureus, E. faecalis, E. faecium, S. saprophyticus, and E. coli. Notably, RNASE6's antibacterial effect is independent of its ribonuclease activity.
