TIGIT Protein, Rat (HEK293, Fc)

T-cell immunoreceptor with Ig and ITIM domains (TIGIT) is a member of the PVR (poliovirus receptor) family of immunoglobin proteins, binds with high affinity to the poliovirus receptor (PVR) which causes increased secretion of IL10 and decreased secretion of IL12B and suppresses T-cell activation or T cell dependent B cell responses by promoting the generation of mature immunoregulatory dendritic cells. TIGIT Protein, Rat (HEK293, Fc) is the recombinant rat-derived TIGIT protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-hFc labeled tag.

TIGIT binds with high affinity to PVR which causes increased secretion of IL10 and decreased secretion of IL12B and suppresses T-cell activation or T cell dependent B cell responses by promoting the generation of mature immunoregulatory dendritic cells. TIGIT is expressed on several classes of T cells including follicular B helper T cells (TFH) ^[1].

Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA. Immobilized human Nectin-2 at 5 μg/mL (100 μL/well) can bind Biotinylated Rat TIGIT. The ED₅₀ for this effect is 0.04812 μg/mL.

Stored at -20°C for 2 years from date of receipt. After reconstitution, it is stable at 4°C for 1 week or -20°C for longer (with carrier protein). It is recommended to freeze aliquots at -20°C or -80°C for extended storage.
