BTLA/CD272 Protein, Human (HEK293, Fc)

BTLA/CD272 Protein, Human (HEK293, Fc) is a recombinant human BTLA/CD272 produced in HEK293 cells, with an Fc fragment at the C-terminus. BTLA/CD272 is a suppressor molecule belonging to the immunoglobulin superfamily which is involved in the inhibition of immune responses^[1].

The B and T lymphocyte attenuator (BTLA/CD272) is a third member of co-inhibitory receptors, which belongs to the CD28 immunoglobulin-superfamily. BTLA/CD272 includes 2 immunoreceptor tyrosine-based inhibitory motifs (ITIM) in its cytoplasmic region and is expressed on a wide range of hematopoietic cells including T and B lymphocytes, NKT cells, NK cells, macrophages, dendritic cells and follicular T helper T cells^[1][2]
