C-MPL Protein, Canine (HEK293, His)

C-MPL Protein, Canine (HEK293, His) is the recombinant canine-derived c-MPL/Thrombopoietin R protein, expressed by HEK293, with C-His tag.

c-MPL/Thrombopoietin R is a receptor for thrombopoietin that regulates hematopoietic stem cell renewal, megakaryocyte differentiation, and platelet formation. Upon activation by THPO, it induces rapid tyrosine phosphorylation and activation of JAK2, providing docking sites for signaling proteins such as STAT5, SHIP/INPP5D, GRB2, SOS1, and PI3K. These signaling cascades promote megakaryocyte proliferation, survival, and differentiation, ultimately enhancing platelet production.
