HER3, a pivotal tyrosine-protein kinase, acts as a crucial cell receptor for neuregulins. Neuregulin-1 (NRG1) activation boosts tyrosine phosphorylation and interaction with p85 subunit of phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase. CSPG5 may also activate HER3.
