Description
SARS-CoV-2 S1 Protein (HEK293) is the recombinant S1 protein produced in HEK293 cells[1].
Background
The spike (S) glycoprotein of SARS-CoV-2 is a main target for neutralization antibody, uses ACE2 to enter host cells. SARS-CoV-2 S glycoprotein harbors a furin cleavage site at the boundary between the S1/S2 subunits, which is processed during biogenesis and sets this virus apart from SARS-CoV and SARS-related CoVs[1].
Verified Bioactivity
1.Binding ability is measured by functional ELISA, 10 μg/mL (100 µL/well) of immoblized recombinant human ACE-2, Fc produces 50% optimal binding response approximately 1.18 μg/mL.
2.Immobilized Recombinant 2019-nCoV S1 Protein at 2 μg/mL (100 μL/well) can bind Anti-2019-nCoV S1 mAb (5D9).The ED50 of Anti-2019-nCoV S1 mAb (5D9) is 10-20 ng/mL.
3.Immobilized Recombinant 2019-nCoV S1 Protein at 2 μg/mL (100 μL/well) can bind Recombinant Human ACE-2 (C-Fc).The ED50 of Recombinant Human ACE-2 (C-Fc) is 10-50 ng/mL.
