The enzyme functionality is assessed by its ability remove terminal β-glycosidically bound N-acetylglucosamine and N-acetylgalactosamine residues from 4-Methylumbelliferyl-2-acetamido-2-deoxy-β-D-Glucopyranoside^[1].
