Description

Kaempferol-3-O-α-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1→6)-β-D-glucopyranosyl-(1→2)-β-D-glucopyranoside is an antioxidant with an IC50 of 26.6 μM (DPPH assay)[1].

In Vitro

Kaempferol-3-O-α-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1→6)-β-D-glucopyranosyl-(1→2)-β-D-glucopyranoside exhibits inhibitory activity against TPA-induced free radical formation in a HL-60 cell culture system and shows free radical scavenging activity in the DPPH assay. The IC50 values are 26.6 μM and 17.6 μM in DPPH and cytochrome-c reduction assays[1].

MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.

Help & FAQs
  • Do most proteins show cross-species activity?

Species cross-reactivity must be investigated individually for each product. Many human cytokines will produce a nice response in mouse cell lines, and many mouse proteins will show activity on human cells. Other proteins may have a lower specific activity when used in the opposite species.
