Sabatolimab  (Synonyms: MBG453)

Sabatolimab (MBG453) is a high-affinity, humanized, IgG4 (S228P) antibody targeting TIM-3, an inhibitory receptor that regulates adaptive and innate immune responses. Sabatolimab is a potential immunosuppression agent that can target TIM-3 on immune and myeloid cells^[1].

Sabatolimab blocks the binding of TIM-3 to its ligands (such as PtdSer and galectin-9), relieves TIM-3's inhibition of T cells and myeloid cells, enhances T cell-mediated TIM-3+ cell killing, promotes DC cells to secrete inflammatory cytokines (such as IL-12 and TNFα), promotes macrophages to phagocytose TIM-3+ cells, thereby enhancing immune responses^[2].

  Flow cytometric analysis of 1.5X10⁶ MCF-7 cells with Sabatolimab (HY-P99044, red). Cells were fixed with 4% paraformaldehyde. Then stained with the primary antibody at 1/200 dilution for an hour at 4℃. AF488-conjugated AffiniPure Goat Anti-Human IgG H&L (HY-P83776) was used as the secondary antibody at 1/1,000 dilution for 30 minutes at 4℃. Human IgG4 kappa (HY-P99003, blue) was used as the isotype control.
