Beschreibung

TB500 is a synthetic version of an active region of thymosin β4. TB500 exhibits anti-fibrotic and wound healing activities by inhibiting the Akt signaling pathway and binding to actin. TB500 is claimed to promote endothelial cell differentiation, angiogenesis in dermal tissues, keratinocyte migration, collagen deposition and decrease inflammation[1][2][3].

In Vitro

TB500 exhibits tissue repairing and regenerative activities through its active ingredient Ac-Tβ417-23. Ac-Tβ417-23 prevents apoptosis, promotes cell survival and angiogenesis, stimulates T cell proliferation, exhibiting immunomodulatory activity[2].
TB500 (15-25 μg/mL, 2 days) promotes cell migration and wound healing by enhancing ATP-induced increase in intracellular calcium ions and activating purinergic P2 receptors[3].
