Sclerotiorin is a reversible and uncompetitive inhibitor against soybean lipoxygenase-1 (LOX-1) (IC50: 4.2 μM). In Vitro

Sclerotiorin (10 μM) slows Aβ42 fibrillogenesis in vitro, detected with 6E10 antibody[2].
Sclerotiorin shows narrow spectrum activity against Gram positive bacteria, with MIC range of 128-1028 μg/mL[3].
Sclerotiorin inhibits cholesteryl ester transfer protein (CETP) activity in vitro (IC50: 19.4 μM)[4].
