BCA Protein Assay Kit 

MCE BCA Protein Assay Kit is a colorimetric assay based on the bicinchoninic acid (BCA) reaction principle for quantitative protein determination.

The detection principle is as follows: under alkaline conditions, proteins reduce Cu²⁺ to Cu⁺, and the resulting Cu⁺ forms a purple-colored complex with BCA molecules. This complex exhibits a strong absorbance at 562 nm, with the absorbance showing a linear correlation with the protein concentration in the sample. This product enables accurate quantification of protein concentrations in the range of 0-2000 µg/mL.

After preparing the protein standard solution, please store it at -20ºC.

1. It is recommended to prepare a new standard curve for each protein assay to ensure the accuracy and reproducibility of the results.

2. If the sample contains high concentrations of interfering substances, dilution or dialysis is recommended. If accurate results still cannot be obtained, alternative protein quantification methods—such as the Bradford Protein Assay Kit (Cat. No.: HY-K2001)—can be used.
