N-Desmethyl Rilmazolam is a metabolite of Rilmazolam (HY-150334) and 450191-S (HY-U00228). N-Desmethyl Rilmazolam significantly enhances the activity of 7-ethoxycoumarin O-deethylase. N-Desmethyl Rilmazolam can be used in insomnia-related studies[1][2].

In Vivo

Administration of N-Desmethyl Rilmazolam (Compound M-2) (50 mg/kg; i.p.; once daily; 3 days) significantly increases hepatic 7-alkoxycoumarin O-dealkylase activities in mice, with the highest induction seen for 7-ethoxycoumarin O-deethylase activity (1.23 nmol/min/mg protein)[1].

Dosage: 50 mg/kg
Administration: i.p.; once daily; 3 days
Result: Increased hepatic 7-methoxycoumarin O-demethylase activity to 0.91 nmol/min/mg protein.
Increased hepatic 7-ethoxycoumarin O-deethylase activity to 1.23 nmol/min/mg protein.
Increased hepatic 7-propoxycoumarin O-depropylase activity to 0.41 nmol/min/mg protein.
Showed statistically significant differences (p < 0.01) compared to the control group.
