Vilobelimab  (Synonyms: CaCP-29, IFX-1)

Vilobelimab (CaCP-29, IFX-1) is a monoclonal anti-C5a antibody to the allergen C5a, a pro-inflammatory complement division product that plays a central role in mediating organ dysfunction. Vilobelimab acts as a C5a inhibitor, inhibiting neutrophil activation, chemotaxis, and reducing inflammatory signalling, and may be used in studies related to sepsis, COVID-19, etc^[1].

  Immobilized Complement C5/C5a Protein, Human, HY-P7864) can bind Vilobelimab. The EC₅₀ for this effect is 14.20 ng/mL.
• 
  Flow cytometric analysis of 1X10⁶ HepG2 cells labeling Vilobelimab (HY-P99520, red). Cells were fixed with 4% paraformaldehyde and permeabilised with 90% methanol. Then stained with the primary antibody at 1/50 dilution for an hour at 4℃. Alexa Fluor 488-conjugated AffiniPure Goat Anti-Human IgG H&L (HY-P83776) was used as the secondary antibody at 1/1,000 dilution for 30 minutes at 4℃. Human IgG4 kappa Isotype Control (HY-P99003, blue) was used as the isotype control, cells without incubation with primary antibody were used as the unlabeled control (black).
